Small Town TOD Works

BLACK LABEL is proud of our work to help bring the City of Rowlett, TX online with a vibrant urban development strategy, exciting execution and vertical development!  After securing a DART light rail station and a major tollway extension, Downtown Rowlett had a vision – to create a city unlike anything else in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex.  BLACK LABEL was brought on board to quarterback this vision by orchestrating a process to market Rowlett in an exciting and new way.  Our marketing efforts led to a formal RFQ/RFP process which BLACK LABEL administered.  After completing direct and strategic marketing and receiving several development proposals, BLACK LABEL negotiated a public/private partnership to create a $33 million 250 unit new urban community called the Village of Rowlett.  The Village was a completely new idea planned to launch Downtown Rowlett and utilize the new transit connections recently installed.  The Village will offer 4 different urban housing types, an urban agricultural element, the central library, restaurants and other retail.  The unit mix includes urban flats, bungalows, live/work and townhomes.  We did the deal, and now the project is under construction. We love this stuff!
